Threaded bushes for stones and solid surfaces

keep nut IMT

From classic marble, to granite, to composites, to carbon and glass, all the way down to Corian®, HPL and other innovative types of solid surface: the self-anchoring threaded bush Keep-Nut®is the solution patented by Specialinsert® to obtain threaded seats on slabs, even in the presence of thin thicknesses, to guarantee maximum resistance to traction.

This stainless steel system consists of a threaded bush and a series of toothed crowns held in place by a plastic ring. Easy to install and quick insertion by pressure with the aid of a punch, Keep-Nut® anchors itself into the receiving material without resorting to sealants or adhesives. The seal is, in fact, ensured by the particular geometry of the insert with elastic washers which, during use, are stressed by an axial traction force, acting radially against the walls thanks to the flexion and pressure.

In addition, the non-through threading of the bush eliminates the extraction effect that could be caused by screws of inappropriate length as well as avoiding accidental breakage of the slab, in the presence of thin thicknesses. Depending on specific needs, Keep-Nut® is available with metric and imperial threads and in the versions with one, two or four crowns.

ETA 15/0615 certified for applications on porcelain stoneware in accordance with EN 14411: 2012, it is widely used on ventilated facades, building coverings, furnishings, fixing of sanitary elements, kitchens and funeral art also by virtue of a completely concealed insertion, which facilitates the handling and storage of the slabs, as well as an accurate aesthetic result.
